Roofers / Roof Plumbers: Starts from the depot in Balcatta and is primarily a roofing role. $44-$50 per hour based on experience Travel $21.94/day. A genuine casual -> permanent opportunity that is suitable for skilled WHV holders with good English. Sponsorship is an option for the right candidates. You must have two - three or more years of roofing, roof plumbing or roof maintenance experience. You must also have or be able to get your Working at Heights ticket. A qualification or apprenticeship would be advantageous but isn't essential. Asphalt Labourers with HR Truck licenses: Starts from the depot in Welshpool and is 99% a civil asphalt labouring role but you will also drive the truck to and from site each day. Both HR-A and -B licenses are acceptable. $37.25 per hour Travel $21.94/day (8hr day = $40/hr). A genuine casual -> permanent opportunity that is NOT suitable for WHV holders. You must be an Aus or NZ citizen or PR or be on a similar unlimited visa to be considered and must be interested in working for 1-2 years. You must be physically fit and enjoy hard work to be suitable for this role, and must be able to pass random drug tests. Skilled Labourer and Telehandler Operators: Based in Rockingham, this is a joint skilled construction labouring and telehandler operating role for an established construction company. $37.25 per hour Travel $21.94/day (8hr day = $40/hr). An ongoing casual role at a new school expected to last over a year, this role is suitable for skilled and experienced WHV holders with a telehandler ticket. It would suit someone living in the south of Perth or the Rockingham area interested in working consistently for 6-12 months.
